about Me

Hello, I’m Laurence, Certified ADHD Coach

Welcome! I’m Laurence, a certified ADHD Coach, passionate about helping individuals navigate the unique challenges and harness the strengths of ADHD. My journey to becoming an ADHD coach is deeply personal and rooted in my own experiences with ADHD and my previous career as a UX Researcher & Designer.

For years, I thrived in the world of UX Research & Design, but over time, I began to feel burnt-out and disconnected from a sense of purpose. I few years ago I discovered that I have ADHD, which was a revelation that helped me make sense of many of the struggles I had faced throughout my life. This discovery ignited a desire to explore new paths and better understand how to manage my ADHD. I decided to give myself 12 months to experiment with side projects and started a podcast to document this journey.

As I delved deeper into the world of ADHD, I found that the skills I had developed as a UX professional—listening to people, understanding their challenges, and creating environments where solutions could be tested and refined—were incredibly valuable in ADHD coaching. It was as if all my life experiences had been leading me to this point. Becoming an ADHD coach has allowed me to help others in a way that feels genuinely purposeful.

My Coaching Approach

As a person diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I understand the fear and frustration of feeling misunderstood. My coaching practice is centred on creating a safe, supportive space where my clients can explore their challenges, embrace their strengths, and learn to take control of the chaos in their lives. I use the ADHD Works Executive Functioning Framework, a powerful tool that has transformed the lives of many, including my own.

Through my coaching, I aim to empower my clients by providing them with actionable tools and strategies tailored to their unique needs. My goal is not only to help my clients overcome their current challenges but also to equip them with the skills and confidence to face future obstacles independently.

Why I Do What I Do

I’m deeply passionate about working with people—especially those who, like me, have faced the challenges of ADHD head-on. ADHD can often lead to feelings of isolation, and I’ve been there myself. That’s why I’m committed to connecting with my clients on a personal level, helping them realise that they are not alone, and guiding them toward a place of understanding and growth.

I believe that everyone deserves the chance to reach their full potential, and I’m here to help my clients do just that. Whether you’re a professional feeling stuck in your career, someone struggling with personal relationships, or a parent trying to balance it all, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Looking Ahead

My immediate goal is to work with individuals who can benefit from the ADHD Works Executive Functioning Framework. However, I’m also aware that not everyone has access to ADHD coaching, especially in challenging times. That’s why I’m committed to making resources and information more accessible through my podcast, ADHD Goals, and other initiatives.

If you or someone you know is struggling with the challenges of ADHD, I’d love to connect. Whether it’s through one-on-one coaching, sharing resources, or simply having a conversation, I’m here to help.
